The desperate of the Tower of David

2500 is the number of persons occupying a single skyscraper in the heart of Caracas, Venezuela. Designed to house banks and offices, the so-called Tower of David, has never been popular and has been abandoned in the nineties. Time is literally invaded by homeless and in serious economic difficulties. The number of "infiltrators" would grow, as they were occupied only the first 28 floors (there are around 45). The health situation, however, is very precarious. In some rooms there are no windows, some even lack walls, wherever there are pools of stagnant water, and balconies are no railings. The Tower of David is a consequence of the financial crisis that hit Venezuela in the nineties.
